FORMAT

• Tournament races are Races 1 – 13 from Pimlico Race Course on Saturday, May 20, 2023.

• The tournament ends with the Preakness Stakes (Race 13). Any live races offered by Pimlico Race Course following the Preakness Stakes race will not be included.

• Due to technical limitations, the Daily Double linking Race 13 to Race 14 may be included on the Wager Menu for this tournament, but will not count for tournament wagers and tournament players should not wager into that pool.

• Any races simulcast by the Maryland Jockey Club from Latin America or South America as part of the Pimlico card on Saturday, May 20 are not included.

• Permitted wagers are Win, Place, Show, Exacta, Trifecta and Daily Double.

• No Superfecta, Super High 5, Pick 3, Pick 4, Pick 5 or Pick 6. The Parlay function for Win, Place and Show wagers is not permitted in this contest.

• Players must wager on a minimum of five (5) contest races at a minimum of $100 on each of those five (5) races.

• Players must wager, at minimum, their entire $1,000 bankroll during the contest.

• There are no maximums – players may wager as much as they want, including the winnings from their bankroll, whenever they wish.

• For purposes of this contest, a Daily Double wager counts as a bet on one (1) contest race. For example, a Daily Double wager on Race 4 (linking to Race 5) will count as a wager on Race 4.

• In the unlikely event of a cancellation of a race card, Tournament Officials reserve the right to substitute races from another racetrack or cancel the tournament and issue refunds to all participants.

• One (1) entry into the 2023 Breeders’ Cup Betting Challenge, valued at $10,000.

• Two (2) entries into the 2024 National Horseplayers Championship (NHC), including airfare and hotel accommodations.

**$1 Millon Breeders' Cup Betting Challenge Bonus**

The top 5 finishers of the Preakness Stakes Challenge will have the opportunity to purchase a $1 million bonus should they go on to win the 2023 Breeders’ Cup Betting Challenge.  The BCBC Bonus opportunity can be purchased for $6,700 through IOA Insurance and the bonus prize is paid as a $1 million 40-year annuity or $600,000 cash value.  The bonus policy must be purchased by the player no later than October 15, 2023.  The top 5 finishers who wish to purchase the bonus should do so by contacting Tyler Frausto at tyler.frausto@1st.com.
