I just wanted to get him off the rail to put him in a nice spot, get him into a nice rhythm and give him a clear run. It worked out really well. When I hit the front, he always kind of waits for the other horses, so he makes it a little bit tougher. As soon as he saw the horse to the inside and the other on the outside, he kept responding. I was inside saving ground and then around the quarter pole the horse in front of me opened the rail and I came through, but the winner he was really tough today. I got a little close but when I got closer, the winner didn’t let me get too close to him. I’m really happy with my horse and his effort, I think he is going to be okay next time. It is the first time I rode him, and I really like him, he is going to improve next time. He’s improving a lot so he’s going to be good down the road.”
