SANTA ANITA’S ‘HOLLYWOOD MEET’ TO BEGIN FRIDAY, APRIL 21, AS TRACK’S CURRENT WINTER MEET SET TO RESET APRIL 9

ARCADIA, CA (April 3, 2023)—With Santa Anita’s current Classic Meet set to reset the day after the Grade I Runhappy Santa Anita Derby on Sunday, April 9, the track’s first-ever “Hollywood Meet” will begin after an 11-day live racing hiatus on Friday, April 21.

The Hollywood Meet, with the exception of Memorial Day weekend at the end of May, will operate on a Friday through Sunday basis through closing day, Sunday, June 18. First post time each day, excepting Triple Crown Saturdays and closing day, will be at 1 p.m. (On all Triple Crown Saturdays and on closing day, June 18, first post time will be at 12 noon.

Santa Anita will continue to offer free admission and parking along with $3 beers and $5 margaritas, on all Fridays throughout the Hollywood stand.
