Santa Anita’s 18-Day Autumn Meet Draws To A Close On Sunday With First Post Time For A 10-Race Card At 12 Noon

SANTA ANITA’S 18-DAY AUTUMN MEET DRAWS TO A CLOSE ON SUNDAY WITH FIRST POST TIME FOR A 10-RACE CARD AT 12 NOON
MANDATORY PAYOUTS IN ALL EXOTIC WAGERS, ADMISSION GATES OPEN AT 10 A.M.
ARCADIA, Calif. (Nov. 5 ,2022)—Due to a return to Pacific Standard Time, punters will get an early start on Sunday at Santa Anita, as first post time for a 10-race closing day program is at 12 noon. There will be mandatory payouts in all exotic wagers, including the 20 cent Rainbow Pick Six Jackpot, which begins with race five at approximately 2 p.m. PT.
With a carryover of $376,573 into closing day, Sunday’s total Rainbow Pick Six Jackpot is expected to exceed $3 million.
With 58 horses eligible to run in races five through 10, average field size for the Rainbow Six is 9.6 runners per race.
With Santa Anita’s 18-day Autumn Meet drawing to a close, all sights now are set on the track’s traditional Winter/Spring opener the day after Christmas on Monday, Dec. 26.
Santa Anita will remain open for simulcast wagering on a Thursday through Sunday basis, with first live race post time for Del Mar’s Crosby Season opener on Friday at 12:30 p.m. Santa Anita’s Grandstand Paddock Room will open for simulcast wagering each day beginning at 10 a.m.
