Deposits And Payments
All contracts require a paid deposit in order to confirm your event as scheduled. Santa Anita requests all Groups with a balance due on the day of the event to pay in full at that time. All events are paid in accordance to terms explained in the contract. Your guarantee/final headcount is due ten business days in advance of your function. The individual named on the contract is considered the billable Group representative and is financially responsible for the event.
Pricing
Although prices listed are current, they are subject to change. Pricing will be confirmed at the time of your reservation, and stated clearly on your contract. Please note all Group packages include parking, admission, reserved seating, racing program, meal, tax, and gratuity.
Food And Beverage
In accordance with licensing and insurance requirements, ALL food and beverage served on Santa Anita Park property is supplied by Santa Anita Park. Any food and beverage remaining after the event shall not be removed from the premises. When the function concludes, all remaining food and beverage becomes the property of Santa Anita Park.
Decorations And Entertainment
Santa Anita Park must approve all decorations, entertainment, and outside vendors in advance. Your Group Events Representative can assist you by providing names of preferred vendors. Please note it is against Santa Anita policy to display balloons of any kind in our outdoor Group locations.
Admission Tickets
The number of tickets issued will equal the guarantee count communicated to Santa Anita ten business days in advance of your event. Please note extra tickets requested will increase your guarantee number automatically. Tickets will be sent upon receipt of the signed contract and deposit, or one month in advance of the event, whichever is closer to the event day.
Children's Policy
Children are 17 years of age and under. Special catering pricing applies for this age group. Please do not issue adult tickets to children. Children 17 years of age and under are always welcome at Santa Anita Park and are admitted free of charge when accompanied by an adult. They must be included in the guarantee and will be charged only for the children’s meal. Please note it is policy that children visiting Santa Anita Park must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Special Needs
Please notify your Group Events representative if there are guests attending who may require special assistance. Specifically, if there are any dietary or ambulatory issues which need attention. Santa Anita does not provide wheelchair assistance and is very limited in the ability to offer transportation assistance of any kind.
