MASSIVE THREE-DAY PICK SIX CARRYOVER THURSDAY AT SANTA ANITA OF $575,466, TOTAL POOL COULD REACH $3 MILLION

ON-TRACK FANS TO RECEIVE $2 ‘QUICK PICK SIX’ TICKET WITH PAID ADMISSION, MUST ARRIVE PRIOR TO 1:45 P.M., GATES OPEN AT 11 A.M., FIRST POST FOR EIGHT-RACE CARD AT 1 P.M.

ARCADIA, Calif. (Oct. 9, 2013)—A massive carryover of $575,466 will await Pick Six players at Santa Anita on Thursday, with the expectation the total Pick Six pool could reach $3 million. Accordingly, all on-track attendees will receive a free $2 “Quick Pick” Pick Six ticket, with paid admission, providing they are admitted prior to 1:45 p.m.

With no one correctly tabbing all six winners in the Pick Six on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, the three-day carryover into Thursday will no doubt be significantly enhanced due to the fact there is no live racing at Santa Anita on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.

Admission gates open at Santa Anita on Thursday at 11 a.m. First post time for an eight-race card is at 1 p.m., with the Pick Six comprised of races three through eight.

Three of the six races in the Pick Six sequence, races three, five and seven, will be run on the grass. Race seven appears to be the best race on the card, as eight horses aged three and up have signed on to go a mile and one eighth.

With one program scratch, 56 horses have been engaged to run in all six races, for a tentative average field size of 9.2 horses per race.

Early Bird attendees will not be eligible to receive the free $2 “Quick Pick” Pick Six. For more information on Thursday’s Pick Six carryover of $575,466, please visit santaanita.com, or call (626) 574-RACE.
