ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) _ On the same track where Breeders' Cup glory has eluded him, Game On Dude won the $750,000 Santa Anita Handicap by 1¾ lengths Saturday, becoming the first three-time champion in the race's 77-year history.

ARCADIA, Calif. (March 8, 2014)—Argentine-bred Winning Prize, with Corey Nakatani up, made every pole a winning one in Saturday’s Grade I, $350,000 Frank E. Kilroe Mile at Santa Anita, prevailing by a half length over Florida-based shipper Lochte while getting a mile on turf in 1:32.44.

Dead last, eight lengths off the lead with a quarter of a mile to run, the 6-year-old horse by Pleasant Tap avenged a disappointing run off the bench Feb. 2 to win Saturday’s Grade II, $250,000 San Carlos Stakes at Santa Anita by a half length under Joel Rosario, covering seven furlongs in 1:20.84.

(March 7, 2014)—A multiple minor stakes winner in her native England, 7-5 favorite Rhagori rallied from off the pace under Rafael Bejarano in her U.S. debut Friday, taking Santa Anita’s third race by a neck in a $58,000 allowance for older fillies at one mile on turf, covering the distance in 1:35.45.
